With feta and pomegranate seeds.
I had a day off yesterday and thought, you know what? Let’s go and have a try once again. It’s been at least over a month since last time I… w-o-r-k-e-d o-u-t. The struggle is real. At least for me. I just don’t like sports and sports don’t like me. I have this huge battle with my self everytime, should I go, will I go. ‘You know it’s good for you’ vs ‘You don’t have to if you don’t want to’.
Of course that’s not an excuse. ‘It’s good for you’ should always be the winning argument, but
sometimes mostly I just feel I the couch and I should have more quality time together. Often people tell me that once you went you’ll feel much better afterwards.
N-O not to me. I go on pure discipline and totally against my will. The only thing I look forward to is the sauna after and my post work out food.
I know I could make those my rewards for going, but if you look at it from another persepective… You don’t actually have to work out to reward yourself, you could skip the gym and just actually go sauna and make yourself some great food.
In the end I did go and treated myself to the sauna AND this great salad once I got home. Maybe, just maybe I’ll be going to gym again soon (today actually). Give myself another nice treat after.
Hmmm, maybe the whole reward thing does work?
- 1 coeur de boeuf tomato, sliced
- seeds from half a pomegranate
- 3-4 basil leaves, chopped
- 50 gr feta, diced
- drizzle olive oil
- salt, pepper
- Assemble, drizzle oil and add a salt and pepper to taste
P.S. I ate this salad by myself seeing I needed a big meal after working out, but it can easily serve as a side for lunch or dinner for 2 people
